From Registration to Coordination: The Technology Behind ACE Canada 2026
A successful conference depends on more than what happens on stage. Behind every meaningful connection are hours of planning, coordination, and preparation. At the Ahmadiyya Muslim Conference for Entrepreneurs (ACE Canada) 2026, a newly developed registration and conference management system helped streamline the attendee experience and coordinate operations across multiple departments.
Turning High Demand into Innovation
The strong demand for conference participation and the significant number of walk-in attendees at a previous conference highlighted an opportunity to improve registration and event logistics. With more than 600 badges needing to be accommodated, the experience inspired a better approach to managing attendees, printing badges, and coordinating conference services.
The resulting system was designed to do more than register participants. It connected registration with the wider operational needs of the conference.
Faster Registration. Better Coordination.
New attendees could register and receive their badges in under 30 seconds, while previously registered attendees could check-in and receive their badges in under 10 seconds. This helped minimize waiting times and allowed attendees to spend more time networking, learning, and exploring professional opportunities.
Beyond check-in, automated workflows connected registration with departments responsible for event planning, airport pickups, accommodation, and other attendee services. Organized attendee information and automated notifications helped teams coordinate arrangements, reduce manual follow-ups, and prepare more efficiently.
More efficient badge preparation also helped reduce costs and minimize material waste.
Technology with a Purpose
The project demonstrated how practical software development can solve real-world challenges while delivering value across an entire event. By integrating registration, badge printing, and departmental coordination through automated workflows, the system created a more connected and efficient process, supporting a smoother arrival experience for attendees and more streamlined operations for organizers.
Held October 2–3, 2026, at Aiwan Tahir in Maple, Ontario, ACE Canada brought together entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders for learning, networking, and meaningful connections. The registration system helped support that experience from the moment attendees registered to their arrival at the conference.
In summary: less time waiting. Less administrative work. Minimal waste. Better coordination. More opportunities to connect and grow.
