It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mahmood Ahmad Malik Sahib of Gillingham, Kent Jama’at, UK, who passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 81.

Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return.

He was a deeply sincere, humble, dignified, and principled individual with exemplary love for Khilafat. He was a Musi and remained deeply attached to the institution of Wasiyyat. His obedience, loyalty, and devotion to Khilafat were among the most defining qualities of his life.

Spirituality, prayer, congregational worship, Tahajjud, the religious upbringing of his children, and fulfilling the rights of family relations were central to his life. He treated his daughters and daughters-in-law with great love, honour, and compassion.

Professionally, he served with distinction in Pakistan’s Income Tax Department and held the position of Commissioner of Income Tax in Islamabad. He was widely respected for his honesty, integrity, and impeccable character.

He was also the nephew of the renowned journalist, writer, and editor of “Inqilab”, respected Abdul Majeed Salik Sahib (Late).

On April 25, 2026, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (may Allah be his Helper), graciously led his Funeral prayer in Islamabad, Tilford, UK. He was later laid to rest at Eashing Cemetery, Godalming, Surrey, UK.
He is survived by his wife, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and friends.

His son, Usman Mehmood Sahib, Esq., resides in Calgary (Halqa North West).

May Allah the Almighty elevate his status, grant him forgiveness and mercy, bless him with the highest status in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and grant all family members patience and strength. Ameen.
