By the grace of Allah, the monthly Ijlas-e-Aam of Halqa Melville (Vaughan Jama’at) was held on January 11, 2026, at the Maple Community Centre. The theme of the programme was the Holy Qur’an, in harmony with the Ashra Ta’limul Qur’an being observed by Vaughan Jama’at during the same week. Approximately 60 members attended the program, including Ansar, Khuddam, and Atfal.
Respected Local Amir Sahib and Murabbi Mustajab Qasim Sahib graced the Ijlas and served as presenters. Zuhr and Asr prayers were offered thereafter, followed by lunch, prior to the commencement of the formal session.

The program began with a recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by a Nazm. Respected Local Amir Sahib then delivered a brief and insightful presentation highlighting recent discoveries of oil reserves and their connection to Qur’anic revelations.

Respected Murabbi Sahib delivered an engaging presentation introducing various Jama’at websites and mobile applications available for the recitation and study of the Holy Qur’an. This was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, with enthusiastic participation from Atfal.
The program concluded with a silent prayer led by Respected Murabbi Sahib.

Members of the Halqa Amila played an active role in planning, preparing, and arranging the program. Lunch was prepared by Langar Khana and served by the Halqa Ziafat Team.
